- Originally fitted with a diesel engine, this Series III has received the relatively common engine swap to the 2.2L Petrol engine, for a better daily drive-ability, including improved speed, reduced noise, and smoother acceleration.

- Early history unknown. Suspected of originally having been a military vehicle, and later used for hunting, having spent most of its life up-country with minimal rust visible. Last 3 number plates include Transvaal and Gauteng plates.
